Wish I had better news. Well better days ahead because I am still under the weather, so I have d
ecided to serve my famous Meme's Hot Buttered Rum. It goes like this:

2 - 4 teaspoons brown sugar (for low carber's Splenda Brown Sugar Blend works well)
1 T. honey
twist of lemon
2 T. water
Place in mug and heat until melted (approx 30 seconds).
Add 1/2 cup of half and half or cream
Add 1/2 cup of half and half or cream
Heat til hot (do not boil), add generous shot of rum (I like Flur de Cana)
Melt 1-2 T butter and float on top
I like mine without spices, but you could add to taste with the brown sugar.
